How does food work on the island?

Good question - Stout’s Island has a restaurant in the main lodge, but reservations are REQUIRED for lunch and dinners. To make a reservation, please call (715) 354-3646.

That said, you are not required to purchase any meals on the island. Guests are allowed to bring their own food and leave the island any time they want to find dining options. Alcohol is required to be purchased at Stout's, but they cannot search suitcases ;)

  • Breakfast is included with your stay. This includes pastries, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and juice.

    7:30 - 10:30 AM

  • Lunch at Stout’s Lodge features an assortment of signature sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, and desserts. A children’s menu is available.

    11 AM - 1 PM

  • Dinner includes small plates, entrées, nightly features, and desserts. A children’s menu is available.

    Stout’s also has an extensive wine list and a well-stocked bar. In addition to the dining room, outdoor patio is available for seating during restaurant hours of service.
